Custom Dress Anyone??

I love these 2 dresses as well !!

That’s super cool! Very pretty. I thought about doing this. I decided against it because I ended up finding what I wanted at David’s. How is the process going? The only dress I had custom made was my bridal shower dress. It was made out of my moms dress locally by a seamstress.

I have a phone consultant coming up in November where I can go over the looks and dresses I uploaded on my profile on their site!! I was initially going to have a dress made by Darius Cordell. But then I decided against that plan and everything involved in the process. Mainly because the dress I had in mind wouldn’t fit the venue we selected.

So instead I purchased a dress online from a bridal salon in Atlanta that was much more simple and fit the venue and wedding style. The funny thing is that I bought it without trying it on. Well actually... I hadn’t tried on ANY dresses and hadn’t gone dress shopping. However I’m in the minority because the dress isn’t a really big deal to me (the decor, details and overall experience is MORE important to me). But I know my body and I know what I like. So the dress is perfect!

I'm going through Anomalie too! I feel the same about the MIGHT be wearing part lol. I should have it paid off by the end of the month so they can ship it. I'm excited but nervous at the same time.

I am more afraid of "buyer's remorse " lol I see A LOT of ladies on here buy dresses and change their minds or put a deposit down and change their mind and lose that money. Weddings are expensive as is so I want to be SURE about the dress portion lol

I'm afraid I'll have buyers remorse too. If Anomalie stays true to what they say, you get a full refund if you don't like it. If I end up not liking it, I better see my refund lol and then I'll just use that money to buy another one. I hate thinking like that but I'm also just preparing for the worst.

View Quoted Comment Hey sexypoodle!! My actual fav dress designer is Pnina Tornai and in order to get a custom dress from her through Kleinfeld it's a $500 deposit along with a $10,000 dress budget. So for me a dress isnt all that serious for me at all lol. I am ok with spending some money for a dress but NOT thousands of dollars. Decor and FOOD are my biggest things lol I LOVE food and so does my FH I have attached 2 pnina tornai dresses also pics of the venue and a lobster roll lol that my FH wants to have at the wedding. And a possible table setting lol

I just watched her bridal trunk show the other day and I loved it. Like I said before those dresses I posted that are apart of her "LOVE" collection aren't more than $2500 if that I forgot how much those dresses are. However she has beautiful affordable dresses in her collection. My FMIL just got married last month and she had her dress made by anomalie I dont kno how much she spent BUT if I had to guess it wasnt more than $1200.

Yes I’m designing and sewing my dress... I’ve started on it already and I just can’t wait to wear it
