Curly hair question

Hi! For my fellow curly girls out there...did you straighten your hair for your wedding day or did you keep your natural curls?

I love my curls, but I’m going to be straightening my hair. My fiancé loves my hair when it’s straight, so that’ll be for him.

I feel the same way. My hair doesn't stay straight because its so curly. Plus if I sweat it will unstraighten faster. Don't know what to do with it.

I know that I will not be straightening my hair for the big day. I don't want to worry about the hair reverting. I personally prefer big hair. I am currently looking for styles that are still me, just a little more polished. If i was going for straight hair, I would probably get extensions. Naturally curly/kinky hair will want to curl back up at any sign of humidity or sweat and I don't want to deal with that.

I agree about the hair curling back up after humidity hits it. My wedding is in July in Florida so it will be hot! But I haven’t fully found a natural wedding hair style I like because I also want to wear a veil.

I am going with extensions. I love my big curly hair but it can have a mind of its own so I’ll be braiding it down 🤣🤣🤣

Oh if you're in Florida I recommend an updo just bc even hair down can be uncomfortable lol.

Ya...I live in Florida but I'm getting married in February. I have my hair trial tomorrow so we shall see what she suggests.

Back fat doesn't exist. You'll look beautiful no matter what. Check out YouTube and Pinterest but I have seen some tutorials about how to do an updo even if you have curly hair. I think it adds a nice little spin on things and I will say most bribe that have straight hair and do an updo end up adding some kind of curls so you wouldn't have to do that.
