Curly Girls Needed!

I’m considering going natural on my wedding day too. I don’t have a solid curly hair routine but my go to routine for a uniform curl that I know will stay is doing a deep wash with a striping shampoo (dawn dish soap works) to remove any product build up then taking my favorite moisturizer and individually going in to twist each curl and letting it coil by itself then going in with an oil to seal it. I use an oil called Mizani, it works wonders. Oil and water repel each other obviously so the oil allows the moisturizer to lock into the curl and leave a lasting pattern in the hair for long term. My hair stylist (my close friend) actually told me this trick and it’s helped me a lot more than I expect. It’s not a stylist but I hope this helps!

OMG it feels so wonderful to know that there are so many more brides that want to go natural for the big day. Your curls are gorgeous! I think Rose's routine would look so beautiful. I want to wear my out just as well. We will be in Vegas during the summer and since are staying longer for our honeymoon I was think to just to braids (Bohemian braids).

This is what I'm doing with my natural curly hair... my curls aren't as tight, but I've tried this style before and I'm comfortable with doing it myself. I've never found a stylist in my area that can handle my hair, so I always do it myself.
