Cruise or All-inclusive Resort?

April, on December 31, 2019 at 12:50 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 4

My fiance and I are getting married this August, and after the wedding we're going on a mini-moon for a couple days, but in February or March of 2021 we want to do our big honeymoon. FH has been on a cruise to Cozumel and together we've been on a cruise to the Bahamas (both through Carnival). We love easy cruising is, you don't have to worry about the food, being entertained, anything. We bought the drink passes so we paid upfront for a max. of 15 alcoholic drinks per day each, so we didn't have to worry about racking up a big bill at the end too. We've decided we either want to do another cruise or an all-inclusive resort so we don't have to worry about paying for food or drink.

What are some cruise lines or resorts you'd recommend?

(also not looking to break the bank, we'd have to pay for flights so no more than $3k for the honeymoon location)

We did a Royal Carribean cruise for our honeymoon and it was amazing! Definitely recommend. We upgraded to a room with its own balcony and for 5 days it was $1145, not including drinks/airfare of course.

I would look into Norwegian! We're about to go on a cruise and got it for such a reasonable price. What they do is give you free offers depending on which stateroom you choose. We got a balcony, so we got a free open bar, specialty dining, credits to use for our excursions, and free wifi. So definitely worth it. Now, you do have to pay gratuities for the drink package, but for 6 days, it equaled out to $200 for the two of us which wasn't bad and a lot cheaper than the Carnival package -- plus you don't have a 15 drink limit, it's unlimited. Before flights, we're paying $1700 for the both of us. This includes all gratuities, port fees, and taxes.

Hey there, April Smiley smile Perhaps you could narrow down the location first and then begin your research. Is there a destination you and your FS would like to visit together?
