Croatia vs Bali

That's funny, my FH and I just started talking about doing Santorini for our honeymoon last night! I don't know too much about it yet, but it looks gorgeous and I've heard great things!

My friend went to Bali in July for her honeymoon and she said it was insanely hot that time of year and also said that in the end, she didn't really think it was worth the extensive travel to get there, since they basically stayed on the beach the whole time. She's also the type to complain about anything though, so I'd take that with a grain of salt.

I'm sure you can't go wrong with either place, so I would maybe look into travel arrangements for both options and see if that helps narrow it down. FH and I were originally talking about doing Bora Bora, but decided that we didn't want to spend 2 days traveling there and that Europe is a lot more accessible to us.

Santorini has been my dream destination for a honeymoon since FH proposed. We will be doing 2 days in Athens, 4 days in Mykonos and the rest of the time in Santorini.

I think I've mentioned this maybe once on here but I've been to Santorini and loved it. Santos Winery at sunset was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to! The black sand beach is very cool and donkey riding is a must!

I've been to Croatia and Bali, and been to Greece but not Santorini. We are actually doing Greece for our honeymoon and Santorini is a must this time. You can't go wrong with any of them, but Croatia and Greece are certainly cheaper/easier to get to and have more of a diverse option of things to do. I think it depends on what you would like to do. Adventure? Relax?
