Craft vs import vs domestic beer

Carly, on March 9, 2024 at 6:15 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 1
We’re planning our bar. NC has lots of good craft beers and I have a lot of guests coming from out of state so we’re discussing serving some local beers.
What’s your experience with beer at weddings?
If you could choose between Blue Moon and Sam Adam’s, local craft beers similar in taste to those, or domestics, what would you choose? (As a wedding guest and/or as the bride and groom? We’ll also have liquor and wine. Thanks!

I think doing something local is fun! It'll give your guests the chance to try something different and it'll be an experience that's unique to your wedding.

I'm biased.. I LOVE NC breweries and I loved living there so as a New Englander, I enjoy visiting my favorite craft breweries when I head down south and bringing home 6 packs of things I can't get up here at home. I think it's always good to have a variety, but if you stick with something lighter like a pilsner/similar, an IPA for those who enjoy a heartier beer, and something easy to drink, you'll be all set!
