Couples getting married on September 9, 2024

We both work construction & winter/early spring is the least busy time so we knew it would be sometime then. We didn't want to deal with rain, so we pushed through winter into the spring months. In our area, everything goes from rushing creeks meandering through bright green grassy hills to CA! IS! ON! FIRE! We're in the northern most area of the state & while it's lush & rural, it does get very hot, very quick. The end of April seems to be the transition point. We realized that the last week or two in April, there is almost never rain & everything is still beautifully green. Once May comes, it's all browning quickly. So, we opted for the last Saturday in April. We will have been together for 3 years & 1 month, nearly to the date when we get married. We got together 3/29. We marry 4/27. After today, 22 days left!
