View Quoted Comment Only around 50 guests, it’s not a big area so we’re going to have a small family only ceremony and then have a bigger reception afterwards at another location with family and friends!

We've always wanted a fall wedding! October 8th is not only my fiancé's birthday, but our anniversary! Seemed like the perfect date, and far away enough that it won't conflict with anyone who has to change their date due to COVID.

I had already picked colors, and they were fall colors so October it was! My fiancé did not want to get married in the middle of the month, I did not want to get married around Halloween, so we ended up on the 8th!

Every year in Oct we go up to Vermont for a little getaway. I got proposed there so it’s only right to have our wedding there as well! Before covid even hit we said we wanted to do OCT 8,2022 since other things were happening in our life (like buying our first home 🏡 ❤️), we wanted to have enough time to save up! I can’t wait for 2021 so I can finally start planning‼️‼️‼️ A girl can’t wait any longer lol 😂

We knew we wanted October, for a few reasons,
1) I want a dress with sleeves but don’t want to be too hot.
2) we love being outside in the fall 3) I am obsessed with Halloween so instead of a Halloween wedding we are doing October 4) we live in Minnesota so early October is key to having nice colors and less likely of snow

Fall is my favorite time of year, I love the foliage and the crisp-but-not-too-cold air.

We wanted to get married on his birthday, which is the 6th, and a Thursday, so we moved it to the 8th!

We love Fall - the weather, the colors, the feeling! Our original date was October 1st, but the venue was booked so we moved it to the following weekend.

We wanted our wedding to be one year from the proposal. The actual day fell on a Sunday, so we landed on October 8th. October is my favorite month of the year for many reasons!!!

We got engaged on October 9, 2022 and are getting married October 8, 2022!!

We originally wanted 9/24/22 but the venue we fell in love with wasn't available that weekend. They offered us 10/8/22 and we jumped at it. Many of our guests (and my fiancé and I) will be traveling from out of state, and I wanted to have the wedding on a 3 day weekend so everyone who traveled would have an extra day off after the wedding to relax when they got home.

We're from NYC but we're getting married outside of Raleigh, N.C., as both of our families live down South. It was a convenient location and much much more affordable compared to where we live.

Have you found a dress with sleeves yet? I bought the Miles gown from BHLDN, it has really interesting sleeves but it's still off the shoulder!

We are getting married on October 8th and I still feel like I have so much work to do, I still, need a dress, decide on food, and get our venue paid, I am freaking out lol.

We’re in Maine, too! October was a no-brainer for us - we reconnected in October, the foliage here is unbeatable, it’s the best month to view the stars, the weather is perfect, and it’s just our favorite month! I also really wanted an even Saturday date, so it was either 10/08/2022 or 10/22/2022, but the latter is the day before my little sister (and maid of honor’s) birthday, so she nixed that! I’m so excited! We are capping ours at about 75 people (although if we invited both of our huge families plus friends, we’d be well over 200!). Congrats!!

Fall is my favorite season! I had to plan a date around my fiance's hunting seasons and my birthday is in October (22nd) so I didn't want it too close to that!
