Hey y'all! So excited to get to know our date twins! We just got engaged and we are super excited to celebrate with our friends and family on Halloween 2025.


Question for all of you- are you wearing costumes at your wedding? Are your guests wearing costumes? We are torn and would love to hear all of your thoughts

    I'm getting married a week after you, but saw this and just wanted to say congratulations! Love the idea of getting married on Halloween! Whether you decide to do costumes or not, I think having Halloween as a theme is super fun!

    I will preface this by saying I LOVE Halloween and I LOVE a costume party! However, I have been to 2 Halloween weddings where costumes were encouraged, and no one wore costumes. I think people worry they will be the only one (or one of only a few) that will actually wear them, and will stand out/feel silly. If you're wanting to incorporate Halloween, I would do so with your decor. There are sooooo many cool and chic ways to have a Halloween wedding!

    Thank you, Cece! I appreciate the input. That's exactly what I was afraid of.

    We're thinking of putting out hats/fake mustaches/sunglasses/small costume pieces and props for people to wear during the reception if they want to. It'll be low pressure and we can still incorporate small costume pieces for people who want to participate!

    Yes, we will def have a photobooth!!! I'm thinking the props/costumes will incorporate well with that

    That's just what I was thinking too! A lot of the photobooths offer different digital backgrounds as well. You could see if yours offers a cool Halloween scene!

    Hey there wedding date mate! We are aiming this month in 2025 too as it falls by our first date. While not my plan, I’ve always thought a masquerade wedding would be super classy and sophisticated.
    As of right now, I can’t even decide on colors. I want Aubergine, olive, wine, burnt orange, and maybe a dusty rose, but I feel like that’s a lot and can’t seem to find a palette to incorporate that. I’d love to hear suggestions.

    A masquerade sounds great! I love that idea!!

    Love the color ideas too! I feel like the darker colors like aubergine/wine would go great with the masquerade theme
