Lol... we are doing none of that. He picked the date because of Star Wars but I told him I refuse to have a theme wedding. He totally was cool with that.

Just my preference, but I'm sure there are some amazing ideas out there for themed stuff.

Just elements like the guest book and names of drinks and such. Tons of beautiful ways to do it without it being overbearing or tacky and I was asking the people who are planning on doing this

View Quoted Comment I found the date and said “could you imagine you would love it” then it stuck. I know he will never forget out anniversary 😂. He loves Starwars and so does my brother. The only thing I am think of is have my brother introduce us for our song turn on the Starwars theme song then say like oops I thought that was it and switch the song.

View Quoted Comment I had our plan prior to our engagement lol. It’s my second wedding and he doesn’t like a big show. We rented a huge Airbnb on the beach to have most of our family stay for 4 nights. We are getting married on the beach, having a private dinner at a restaurant then back to the house for dancing, cake, pool. We both don’t drink so we couldn’t see ourselves throwing a big party for 200 people and paying for all that. Ours isn’t cheap by any means but intimate and a fun long weekend with people we love.

This is my 2nd also and his 1st so I’m ensuring it’s what he wants because I’ve already done the pomp & circumstance. We’ll have about 70 people and a DJ and cake with an outdoor ceremony. Pretty basic but on a smaller scale.
