Couples getting married on March 26, 2021 in Hawaii

Ashley, on July 18, 2019 at 7:09 AM Posted in Hawaii Planning 0 6
This month means a lot to my fiancé and I, especially how we first met. But is it too close to summertime when it’s hot? Is it too soon after the holidays where nobody can afford a trip to Hawaii? Let alone gifts? How are you planning to pull this off?

Welcome to the WeddingWire community, Ashley!

If you're worried about the financial burden on guests, perhaps speak with some friends and/or family members and get their opinions on having the destination wedding in March Smiley smile Perhaps with plenty of warning, they could be prepared and save accordingly!

According to the WeddingWire honeymoon section, the weather in Hawaii is pretty much warm all year round. Would you choose to go with a different month if it meant the temperatures would be cooler? Is high temperatures a deal-breaker for you?

Thank you for your warm welcome, Cliodhna! You’re right, I should give my family members an opportunity to share how they will be able to successfully attend our celebration. I currently live in Hawaii which is why we’re having our wedding here, and March is significant in our relationship’s history. We agreed to have our reception indoors regardless of the “season,” but should we place our guests and their preferences above what is meaningful to us?

I've always wanted to visit Hawaii. One day 🤞

When you mentioned Hawaii and travel, I assumed this was a destination wedding for you. I understand now you will have many guests flying in!

If you've decided to have the wedding indoors, I personally don't feel the weather will have any impact on your plans for a March wedding. It's such a nice idea to have your wedding in a month that has such a significance in your relationship Smiley smile

There is no harm asking family or friends you value for their opinions, however, as you mentioned, it's important you and your FS plan a wedding that is meaningful to you.

Well when that day comes, let me know and let’s have lunch (: I truly appreciate your input, I do have to keep my guests in mind but my priority is to celebrate the love my fiancé and I share! Btw, what does FS stand for?
