I have been engaged for 1yr and 2 months already. Me and my fiancé decided on a long engagement after we found out how expensive weddings are and we didn’t want to sell ourselves short of what we wanted. The month we chose is actually the month we first me almost 6 years ago, but as far as the date we just chose for convenience because of the holiday (MLK weekend) and our guests being able to enjoy a long weekend with us.
