Costa Rica Honeymoon

We went to Costa Rica 5 years ago. We tried to see as much of the country as possible and stayed in the Arenal area, Monteverde, and then spent a few nights at the Westin in Playa Conchal. There were a lot of couples on their honeymoon there, there is an adults only section of the resort, and it is absolutely beautiful. We did our excursions before getting to that resort, but we talked with a lot of couples who were arranging them through the hotel and seemed happy.

How long do you plan on going for?

We went to Costa Rica last year and loved it. I highly recommend ziplining and hot springs in the Arenal area. Ecotermales hot springs was absolute paradise. Also highly recommend a guided tour in Manuel Antonio National Park. We saw so many great animals and then spent the rest of the day at the beautiful beach (with monkeys!)

We got married in June but only took a minimoon at the time. We just booked our honeymoon at the Riu Guanacaste, Costa Rica. We’ve heard great things about both the Riu’s!

I just recently went in March to visit family and we went to a resort called Barceló Tambor. LOVE every minute of it! Highly recommend
