Corona brides taking next years vendors

Roopchandwedding, on April 17, 2020 at 2:28 AM Posted in Planning 0 7
We intended on booking our vendors starting May since our wedding is next year. Thankfully we booked our first vendor after they informed us that Carona brides have been reaching out to them since they were forced to reschedule their weddings.

Today, when I went to book our photographer - a carona bride booked him literally five minutes before I sent my package request.
Is anyone else experiencing this right now? I honestly feel like I am in a virtual trunk sale for wedding vendors and all the good ones are being taken.
If you feel like you have a great vendor from the New York (Long Island) area please share their information.
We are currently looking for a videographer and cinematographer.

What’s your budget? My videographer is from the SoCal area, but is phenomenal and travels all over country (and world) for weddings.

Thanks for reaching out. We intend to spend no more than 4K for a photographer and cinematographer service combined.

Does your photographer come with a videographer ?

With or without the amount of rescheduling happening right now, vendors would be getting booked up for next summer. Especially with you wanting a holiday in a popular wedding month, I’d anticipate most top rated vendors would be booked well over a year in advance. I don’t live in your area so I don’t have any specific vendor recommendations, but I would be surprised if you could find both those service for 4K in New York. I live in MA and photography alone cost me 3k.

No, mine were booked separately. :/ unfortunate, they’re a little bit off budget too.

My videographers were Jay and Mack Films in San Diego.

I was planning to get married in July 2021, but we decided to postpone for a number of reasons. We are now deciding between November 2021 and April 2022. On top of being later and giving us time for important life changes, it makes it less likely that a postponed bride will book the vendors we want. We didn't want to deal with that possibility.
