Colorado wedding

Brooke, on January 2, 2022 at 8:56 AM Posted in Colorado Planning 0 2

Hello everyone so I’m very highly leaning toward eloping and have questions for my Colorado brides out there. I am highly considering Colorado as it’s stunningly beautiful (I’ve only see pictures but they look so surreal), self solemnization, and fairly cheap to fly to depending on the day/time of year. I’m dreaming of a forest/mountain/ maybe lake included type wedding kind of a mix of a moody and romantic vibe.

1.) any jaw dropping beautiful mountains/forests/lake fronts you’d recommend within an hour of Denver? (If there’s a fee to get married at said park that you know about please mention it so I can budget)
2.) any good elopement packages out there? Includes things like hair, cake, music, bouquet things like that?
2.) looking for recommendations for Photo/videographer to follow just the two of us on an adventure and shoot photos. (So not a typical wedding photographer type job, would need to be able to shoot on a mountain side/by lake etc.)
3.) Bed and Breakfast places to stay? Any all inclusive resorts over there? (food and alcohol included in price)
4.) lastly any neat hole in the wall type things to do/or see while we are there? I’m really interested in making our day special by doing unique things together that we love. I imagine my elopement to be an all day affair that involves just the two of us

Any and all advice is welcomed!

Try Boulder Creek w/ Wedgewood weddings!!! that's who we are going through and they do pretty much everything for you and have awesome packages. It's a beautiful area and is secluded from the hustle and bustle of Denver.

There are several Colorado wedding elopement photographers that specialize in helping curate your adventure. I would Google Colorado elopement photographer. As far as lakes close to Denver, it depends on the time of year because some are not easily accessible in the winter. If you use the AllTrails app you can filter less than a mile hike from a lake and compare pictures in one place to try to narrow it down. Sorry I don’t have specific examples but I hope this helps. I know there are quite a few all inclusive venues but I don’t know them 1 hour out Denver.
