Colorado Mountains wedding venues that don't cost an arm and a leg???

Paul, on January 15, 2015 at 5:38 PM Posted in Colorado Planning 0 12

Help! I am not from Colorado and cannot go look for venues each weekend. I'm looking for a venue with mountain views that isn't crazy expensive! Also one that is within 2 hours from Denver. Summer wedding, outdoor venues preferred!

THANK YOU!

Hey so I may be of no help since I'm not from that area, but I went to my cousin's wedding in CO last year and they picked this location and it was beautiful. If you want to check it out here is the link. Again, I'm not sure of the pricing but it's a start. Wish I could be more helpful. Good luck!

We are have ours at Mount Princeton! That area is so beautiful! I consider it to be affordable, but that is relative. What are you looking at budget wise? I may be able to help a little more if I know Smiley smile

ETA: Mount Princeton is actually about 2.5-3 hours from Denver but so worth it!

Kate your wedding is going to be gorgeous! I loved how beautiful, natural and secluded that venue was for my cousin's wedding. They had theirs inside the Pavilion last November.

My sister got married at Mount Vernon Country Club and it was beautiful and had really great food. She had her wedding on a Friday so it cost less but it was really beautiful. Had some great mountain views and you could actually see Denver in the distance. I thought it was a great place!

I'm getting married at Granby Ranch in Granby. There's also The Lodge at Sunspot in Winter Park, Vail Mountain, Beaver Creek Wedding Deck, Spruce Mountain Ranch, Della Terra Mountain Chateau, Mount Princeton Hot Springs, Mount Vernon Country Club, YMCA of the Rockies at either Estes Park or Snow Mountain Ranch. I know you can also get married at the Maroon Bells but I'm not sure how much it costs. Devils Thumb Ranch is gorgeous but kind of pricey.

If your budget is $30-35K would Princeton be affordable?

We booked Willow Ridge Manor, a beautiful venue set against the mountains and comparatively more affordable. Colorado Mountains wedding venues that don't cost an arm and a leg??? 1
