Cleveland Ohio venue for small wedding/reception

Karissa, on November 28, 2018 at 1:36 PM Posted in Ohio Planning 1 3

Looking for some places in Cleveland Ohio for a small wedding/reception. (25 people give or take) my fiance and I love Cleveland, more so than Columbus. If anyone has been to a wedding or know of any place I would love to hear your input. (I can only search Google so much)Smiley laugh

Welcome to the WeddingWire community, Karissa!! Smiley ring My first suggestion is always to look through the WeddingWire vendor directory, if you haven't already. It's got a bunch of venues to peruse, and you can filter the results by options like date availability, venue type, and any additional services you'd like included. I'll link you to the results I got for a Cleveland venue search. Smiley smile

Are you looking for a space for just the reception or for the whole wedding? Is there a certain type of venue you're looking for?

I have been to dinner at Georgetown and Voss in Lakewood it looks so pretty. I think it would be a nice spot for a small wedding. I think they do some receptions. We also looked into henn mansion in Euclid for our ceremony but location was to small it has great views of the lake. But would work for a small reception. Another place is in willowick I had a cousin that did a small wedding reception at the lodge, it is part of the metro parks.

Karissa, I am in the same boat! Planning from a distance (Boston) and looking for a place in or near Cleveland for 50 people or less. I'm struggling to find a place that won't feel cavernous, where we can still have music and dancing, and that doesn't have minimums that we wouldn't be able to make.

Here are the places on my research list.

    Gervasi Vineyard

    The Club at Hillbrook

    The Cleveland Museum of Art

    Music Box Supper Club

    Georgetown & Vosh

    Glidden House

    Blue Heron Medina

    Market Garden Brewery

    Happy Days Lodge

    Mapleside Farms: The Cellar

    Fox Meadow Country Club

    Dino's at Manakiki

    Dino's at Acacia

    Dino's at Pineridge

    The Ballroom at Park Lane

My dream would be Great Lakes Brewing Company, but they are booked for 2019. Their space looks fantastic!

If you find any others, could you share them here? Thanks and good luck!
