We have decided to go to Clearwater Florida for our honeymoon. Any hotel and must do activities? No budget.

I was just down by Clearwater last month! We stayed in Indian shores which is maybe 20 minutes away and rented a condo (Sand Castle condominiums) for a week. Clearwater is very pretty area. If you guys like Seafood , check out Cooters restaurant and bar in Clearwater. Mondays and Tuesday's they have all you can eat crab legs and they are phenomenal!

I was looking at Clearwater for our honeymoon too. If you go online and look up that area they have a website and you can get mailed a catalog of hotels and things to do in the area.

Go to crabby bills if you like seafood. Take the sea screamer dolphin watching!

I live here in St. Pete, about 30 mins from Clearwater Smiley smile look at the sand pearl resort.....it's beautiful and in the middle of all the Clearwater beach action. If you're into the beach bar scene, go to Shepard's one day, they have live music and a seafood buffet that's really good! Also definitely make your way to Downtown St. Pete one day. There's beautiful waterfront, trendy restaurants and bars and always something going on.

We got engaged at Opal Sands. It's a brand new resort and it's amazing! Stay there!!! They have a tiki bar overlooking the gulf too. Can't say enough good things about the resort

I also live in the area and while Clearwater is beautiful and with lots of fun things to do, be warned it's always PACKED and BUSY! So, if you're wanting a more low-key, relaxing beach honeymoon, you may want to check out somewhere else along the Gulf coast.

Jimmy's Fish House is a MUST visit! Especially if you dine on the patio while listening to live music and watching all the drunk people. We had a blast people watching.
