My fiance and I want to go on our honeymoon in the Clearwater Beach, FL area. We have been to Indian Rocks Beach nearby and loved the area. Any recommendations on nice hotels in the area and things to do/see? I was hoping somewhere would have some type of honeymoon package, but none of the resorts I have looked into so far have had anything. Any info would be helpful!

My sister lives in that area and most of the hotels are pretty nice. I personally love spending a day a little north in Tarpon Springs, it's a harborside town that's known for its sponge fishing, handmade soaps, and Greek culture. Hellas bakery and restaurant is my suggestion for lunch. There's a small aquarium there too but I know they're under construction currently so I'm not sure when it'll reopen.

We stayed at Royal North Beach. It's a motel and it's not super fancy. But it was nice! We had a separate bedroom and a kitchenette. Possibly a full kitchen. We were a little north of where all the action was. But considering we were 28 and it was college spring break time, we didnt mind that.

What made you guys decide on Clearwater Beach?
I would definitely check out Booking.com for great hotel deals. There are so many filters that you can add that you are bound to find somewhere amazing!!

We just got married on Clearwater Beach at the Hyatt Regency and I loved it there. Great hotel and you can walk to everything.
