Christmas/winter Traditions ❄️

Star, on December 13, 2019 at 2:54 PM Posted in Family and Relationships 1 2
What are your favorite winter traditions?

Are these traditions from your family when you were young? &/or recent or new traditions made since you’ve been married that you enjoy with your SO?
How many have taken Christmas light pictures or had a romantic evening out? We just had Christmas light pictures taken in our town Tuesday night. I’m over the moon with how the pictures turned out. Very beautiful. 🥰☺️
PS if you haven’t yet I highly recommend taking a ride in a horse drawn carriage or sleigh. (If you’re not into that that’s cool too. Let me know what you would prefer and suggest to me over this) I did this several times when I was young and, on top of loving horses, I loved how it made you feel. Like a trip back in time, all in the romantic feels, especially if you have hot Chocolate and are able to see gorgeous lights throughout your trip. ❤️

It’s my first Christmas with just my husband and no other family. We got some cute stockings and were taking a train ride. Hot chocolate and Christmas movies for Christmas Eve.

One of our longest traditions is to make a gingerbread house together! We also usually have a hot cocoa night and in previous years always ran a 5k right before christmas. We have spent christmas together with family or completely separate over the years so we always exchange our gifts to each other privately which has become a fun tradition.
