Charleston ceremony needed!

Have you considered a church (if you're religious) or a public park? Maybe even the campus of CSU or CofC if they'd allow it?

I agree with Amber. A public park or college campus will likely be less expensive than a normal "wedding venue". Also, with your date quickly approaching, a lot of traditional venues are probably already booked. You could also check into public beaches or hotel ballrooms.

Another option is to find wedding venues that may offer packages for "last minute" bookings. I know of some venues in my area that offer this discount for weddings booked within 3-6 months of the wedding.

It would be helpful to know what your guest count will be for your ceremony. How close to your reception venue are you hoping to be able to hold your ceremony? Will transportation via cars be an option for your guests?

Are there any art galleries, museums or libraries in the area that may allow a ceremony to be held there?

I have looked and many galleries, and such are expensive. The ceremony is super quick, like 20 minutes. Our venue just can’t do it.
