Changing Wedding Date

Hey Latron Have you had to change your wedding date a couple of times? Is May 16 2020 your confirmed date now?

I'm not currently planning my wedding. I work with WeddingWire on this forum. I love talking about all things weddings so it's a perfect fit for me

When we first got engaged we really thought we wanted December 7, 2019 (our dating anniversary). We said that would probably be our date when our friends and family asked. Once we started planning and trying to find a venue, we were thinking about Feb. 2020 since it's off season pricing.

Once we found our venue we set our date for May 9, 2020. We just decided last month that with how planning was going on top of quite a few personal reasons to move our wedding back to December 5, 2020. That's what we're sticking with and we're much happier now! We felt bad about constantly changing our date but in the end it's our wedding and what will make us happiest.

We didn't really change it per se. We would have preferred the first weekend in October but that wasn't an option with FH's schedule. Then we looked at November because a venue we liked only had that date available about the time we wanted to get married. Then we found a venue with 10/10/20 available and it was in an ideal area so we grabbed it.

Yes! We changed it once. The reason we changed it was because I was super stressed and it felt like our date was getting closer and closer and I had nothing prepared. The months in 2019 we’re flying back way too fast for me. We went from July 2020 to now November 2020. I got engaged January 2019. For me The longer the engagement, the more planning and a little stress free for yourself.

I changed mine from May 2,2020 to May 1, 2021
