Ceremony Time

Your venue should be able to provide you with recommended start times based on the time of year and usual sunset time! If you don't do a first-look, you'll want to make sure you factor in extra time after the ceremony ends so you're able to do all your photos while there's still light.

View Quoted Comment Exactly this. We found out what time sunset which in our case is 6:50 in oct so we are doing a 5:30 ceremony. Most photos will be done w first look but we want sunset photos too. So 30 min ceremony 20-30 minutes of photos. Mingle with guests for 20-30 then do 10-15 minutes of sunset photos and then dinner.

I would talk with your photographer when you’re figuring out your timeline. Our photographer narrowed down our timeline so we knew exactly when everything would happen.

Talk to your event coordinator from the venue and photographer. They'll be able to give you more accurate times than Google.

Great advice!! Those trees are going to block a lot of the sun too, so that's going to be a major factor as well.
