Ceremony Readings?

We had one reading at our rehearsal dinner and one at our wedding. At the rehearsal, my brother read a passage from the Bible. At the ceremony, my grandmother read a poem she wrote for us. I'm not sure what your third question is asking..

View Quoted Comment You're welcome! She has written me several poems throughout my life. She also wrote us a poem for our one year wedding anniversary. I had asked her if she would want to do a reading because her and I are really close and she asked if there was something specific I had in mind and I said she could either read us something generic or write something unique for us. She choose to write a poem.

We're planning on two readings! They'll be more fun/lighthearted readings. We're planning to ask two of our friends to read at the ceremony.

My brother picked out four readings for my sister’s wedding and died before my wedding. My sister and brother-in-law each read one of the readings that wasn’t selected for my sister’s wedding.

My mom just passed away this year so we decided to use one of her poems about love for our ceremony reading. I think we’ll probably have my little brother do the reading but haven’t set it in stone yet.

I have two adult daughters who will each be reading during our ceremony. I wanted to involve them some how.
