Hi! We are getting married next year in November, we did book a venue however due to unforeseen circumstances we can’t spend the $15,000 on it 😭. We were thinking about renting a banquet hall and doing the ceremony in there also! Any thoughts on this or has anyone done it???

Hi Kelly! Plenty of couples do this!!
Is there venue and wait staff that can help you flip the room? Or do you need to have it all set up beforehand?
I went to one wedding where all the tables were set, just pushed to either side of the room while the ceremony was in the center! They used potted plants to help define the ceremony space as well. Then the guests all moved outside for cocktail hour and the staff was able to move the chairs and spread out the tables!
