Centerpieces

Macee, on June 6, 2019 at 2:05 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 11
The whole centerpieces, flowers and decorations are stressing me out to the max. I've been on Pinterest and nothing at all feels like me. I'm at the point I just want someone to tell me what to do. So, any thoughts or suggestions are most welcome for my fall rustic wedding with the colors Burgundy, Black and Tan (burlap).

I'm sorry! It is all stressful to me, to be honest! We decided to just do floating water candles, since it is much cheaper then flowers and easy but still looks great! We will have a couple taller vases in the middle too.

I agree with doing candles because it's cheaper! I am going with a jar and some sand and a candle and that's it.
But an idea I thought of now that I didn't before but I would suggest to others is buying orchids or flowers at the store. You know like trader Joe's or whole foods has those sections with flowers and alot of them tend to already be in a nice pot or vase and they're not that expensive, the orchids in particularly are usually already potted in a nice little pot. You may not be able to find one your color scheme exactly but it's already made for cheaper than buying em at a florist.

I agree with the candles if your venue allows open flames. Ours doesn't so we're going with the cheapest flowers I can find that still look nice. I decided that the centerpieces are just not a priority to me when it comes to planning. Most supermarkets will put together some pieces at a fraction of the cost of a florist.

Unfortunately, no flames at my venue. I love the look.

A lot of venues that don't allow open flames will let you have LED candles. They look just like flame candles, but they are basically little electric lights. Just a suggestion if you had your heart set on candles.

We're doing something similar to this, except there will be colored beads in the bottom of each vase. Purple stones, the ones you see for fish tanks.

Candles and the little LED wire lights are pretty with very little fuss if candles aren’t allowed. We can’t have open flames, so I got the LED candles ... and lots of them. If you have time, watch for the seasonal clearances, sales, and coupons at bed bath beyond, Joann’s or Hobby Lobby. These are my favorite, and will be on the alter. I am also pressing leaves and painting them copper to scatter on the tables.

We're not allowed to have open flames, but we're doing fairy lights in midnight blue painted mason jars with star cut outs, floating pearl vase with underwater fairy lights, with wooden numbers on top of a sliver of log (pictures of what I found on Pinterest that I used as ideas) We're also having a fall, rustic-style wedding. Our colors are midnight blue, gold and burgandy. Hope this helps!

Nice color combo, I feel like you can go nontraditional and do something simple to be cost effective. Also use pinterest and put in your colors to get inspiration
