Catering around 5k, 150 people ??

Hi everyone!! Intested to see if anyone has gotten quotes closer to 5k for a cocktail hour/ reception for 150 people? Currently our quotes are closer to 12k after service fees, looking to avoid BBQ but open to a variety of other options!!

Hey Jen! Besides BBQ, Italian and Mexican cuisines tend to be on the more affordable end of catering cuisines. I'm not guaranteeing anything, but maybe if you looked into a place like Olive Garden or Chipotle (I would die for a wedding catered by Chipotle), you could get a quote under or around $5,000.

We quadrupled the budget and will be around 17-20k by the time the menu and add ons are settled, we have people coming from New York where food at weddings is abundant so we decided we couldn’t skimp
