Carnival vs. Princess cruises

Megan, on January 10, 2014 at 1:10 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 21

I am thinking a cruise would be the best way to go for our mini-moon. We only have a couple days (3-4) and I'm thinking a quick trip to mexico would be cheaper than a 3 or 4 night stay in San Diego or Vegas.

Anyone been on either of these cruise lines? How much is included for the price?

If you value your life than take Princess lol

If they are the exact same price Princess is going to be the way to go. I've done 2 Princess cruises and highly enjoyed both

I've done multiple carnival and royal caribbean cruises..I prefer carnival, because it was more fun and more things to do on board. We are doing a 7 day carnival for our honeymoon.

Oh yea please get the patch. if you find that the whole patch is giving you side effects, cut it in half and use half behind your ear. Make sure you switch ears too...I learned the hard way and experiences all the side effects listed on the pack lol

I took a Carnival cruise that broke down. One of the engines caught fire. It took us 2 extra days to get back to PR, which meant mass chaos in trying to get new flights. With all of us on the boat needing new flights, flights then became sold out, which lead to us needing hotel rooms. Hotel rooms started selling out. HOT MESS. Never again will I take Carnival.

I've been on a ton of cruises. Never had any problems with motion sickness. But if the price is the same definitely go with princess. In the cruising world, carnival ships are considered bottom of the barrel. Included will be your food and most entertainment. Booze is extra.

Princess and Royal Caribbean are my favorite two. I personal would not want to go a Carnival cruise, because they haven't taken very good care of their ships. I have went a a few Royal Caribbean cruises, and that is the one I would go with if I were going on another.

No motion sickness. We spend most of our summers boating. Just never out of the country

I've been on 2 Royal Carribbean cruises and 3 Carnival Cruises.

I love cruising....I suggest going with whichever port is closet to you or which itinerary you like best. Carnival is a great cruise line in my opinion. Lots to do, fun upbeat employees. It will be what you make it.

We love cruising! We like Holland America but that is top of the line....Stick to Princess or Royal Caribbean. Carnival is more for a younger crowd and for your honeymoon you want something special....

We have done 7 or 8 RCCL and 1 Princess. The food was very good on Princess and the service was top notch.

Try anything BUT Carnival! We supply the cruise lines out in the San Pedro Port. Carnival is a party ship.... Bunch of young kids go on it.

I've been on two Carnival cruises and they are full of little kids. It was fine the first time as I was a kid, but the second time I was a teenager and it got pretty annoying. There were kids doing cannonballs in the hot tub and running all over the deck. Fine for a family cruise, but if you're wanting romantic alone time that's pretty hard to find.

I have been on a few royal Caribbean cruises and they were great, I was really

Impressed with them each time. If you are choosing between Princess and Carnival, I'd recommend Princess!

We did a princess cruise when we went to Alaska. I never ate so much food in my life! It was delicious. I didn't think the alcohol was anymore expensive then what you paid or in a downtown bar. We also had beyond exceptional customer service! I would highly recommend them and we are looking at using them again.
