Caribbean vs. European honeymoon?

Hi ladies, my fiancé and I are trying to decide between an all inclusive trip to the Caribbean or a trip to Europe for our honeymoon. We have around $8,000 budgeted so we have found plenty of options. We're just unsure if Europe would be too much after the wedding. In terms of where in Europe it would probably be Nice, France or Greece or anywhere around the coast. Any advice is much appreciated!

    What about Mediterranean cruise? I did one when i was 19 and loved it! So beautiful! Not sure of the price as it was family trip and we were living in Azores at that time! But it can be relaxing and fun and you see different places!!

    I mean if money is not an issue.. Nice is fabulous! Although I plan on staying in the Caribbean myself. ETA: the beaches at Nice were more pebbles than sand. If you're looking for the best beaches, than you should go to the Caribbean.

    The first thing I thought when I saw the title was the biggest difference will be cost. If you have $8,000, go to Europe!!! The Caribbean is a generally inexpensive trip and I think you could go again on a regular vacation, but a European honeymoon would be a once in a lifetime trip. If you are worried about being overwhelmed, I would consider taking a few days between your wedding and leaving for your honeymoon to give yourselves time to unwind and make sure you remember to pack everything!

    If your budget for your honeymoon is $8000 then definitely go to Europe!! You can visit the Caribbean anytime for way less than that. You could always pick a few places to visit in Europe and would still be under budget! We're going to Amsterdam and Venice for ours and we can't wait!!
