Cancun vs Cozumel?

Who here has been to Cancun and or Cozumel Mexico? My fiance and I are considering going for our honeymoon (January) but neither of us have been. How did you like it? Have any tips for traveling there? Did you prefer one place over the other? Any other Mexico destinations you would recommend?

    In my personal experience Cancun has more of a party vibe. There are a lot of adult only Resorts in the area. I suggest you go with an adult only location.

    Tulum is amazing and a bit more relaxed. There are a lot of great photo ops and historical sites but you can access these location from Cancun as well.

    Cozumel is a nice medium. I got some very nice silver and turquoise jewelry from a native shop.
    If you’re looking for something more romantic I’d go with Tulum.

    Hi Bethany! Cancun definitely has more nightlife if that's what you're looking for! It also has lots of all-inclusive hotel options and tourist activities. 🌊

    Cozumel is a little more calm, with tranquil beaches and tons of incredible scuba diving spots like Cozumel Reefs National Park.🤿 But there's still fun nightlife and great restaurants in downtown San Miguel!!
