Cancun Mexico or Maui?? which is better???

I looooved cancun. we stayed at the ME by Melia. gorgeous! there's so much to do and the water is beautiful! i don't know much about maui.

It depends- is budget a factor? Maui will be much more expensive.

Maui might be more expensive but cancoon just has the "party" lifestyle IMO.... so it depends on what kind of scene you want for the honeymoon.

Money aside, Maui - except for the length of the flight! (I wouldn't go to Maui for less than a full week, not including travel, if I were flying that far!)

I'd pick Maui before Cancun. I'm the type that likes to veture off resort and see museums, zoos, etc. And I'd rather not go off resort in Cancun.

Maui... there are ways to save some $$$ here. So you can literally have your cake and eat it too!

You might just score a condo or even a house near the beach that's cheaper and more authentic than a run of the mill hotel.
