I was told, sun screen is a must! Also, bring allergy meds and cream just in case you get a bite or reaction to something, Tylenol, band-aids, towels, hats, nice outfits for going out a few nights.

Don't forget your passport! Bathing suits and cover ups, towel, sunscreen, hat, books/magazines, games, comfortable shoes for exploring, nice clothes for going out, all toiletries, sunglasses!

Samantha, yeah. I'm kinda jealous of me too! If we didn't have these awesome friends we would not be going on this trip! No way we could afford everything plus hotel....

Can't wait to see some pics! We're looking at Hawaii bc September is not the best time to be going to the Caribbean. Otherwise I had my eye on St. Lucia!

I'm going to St. Lucia in 18 days! still trying to figure out what to bring. last time i went to the carribbean, 10 years ago or so, i remember wearing mostly my bathing suit and cover-ups. and sun dresses.

Julie- you and I will actually overlap a day or two! How cool is that?!

Has anyone been to St. Lucia? What do you wear to go to lunch? If you want to go hike the pitons, do you need special clothing/gear? What if you're just about town?

I was thinking same thing. Haven't traveled in the last 4 years. Can't remember what I use to pack. Can anyone think of anything else?

I remember reading from posts before about packing a couple of nice outfits (for your FH too) because some restaurants have dress codes (no flip flops, etc)

Julie- wish we would overlap a little more, would be fun to get together! Although, I have to admit, my H is not much of a golfer. He went golfing with some friends of his before he moved out here I and my reaction was "really?! I'm shocked!"

I know for me, I want to make sure I remember to pack enough underwear! I actually travel pretty often, so I'm good with shorter trips, but I don't take these long ones very often and NEVER to somewhere exotic! (I'm usually just going home to CT or up to ME for a few days).

Hiking shoes/boots in case you are planning on going on any rainforest tours (you should!) and bug spray. Also, definitely a camera so you can show us what a great time you have

OOH! Bug spray! I was just about to add that to the list myself. I may actually have trouble finding that this time of year here in CO. 1. Almost no bugs (at least compared to what I'm used to) 2. It's been snowing like mad lately!
