Calling to check up on wedding dress?

When did they tell you it would be delivered?

I ordered my dress in July and called a few weeks ago because they had told me 6 months. They were able to tell me that it was expected to arrive mid-February and it arrived last Friday! I think it's totally appropriate to call and ask.

Yes they can tell you! Totally call. If it's ok it's way they'll have shipping tracking, if it's not in route than they'll call the manufacturer!

Call and ask. Mine was due late Jan and it now due late March. But my salon has been in contact with me every step of the way. But's I'd call and ask.

One of my friends dress had come in and the salon claimed they called her numerous times, but she had never received a call or e-mail from them. She checked in and was surprised they were about to return her dress to the manufacturer (and she had bought it out right when she ordered it)

Yikes, that is cutting it close! When did they say it would arrive??

Ordered my dress in October and they said it would come in February or March. I mostly communicate with the shop owner via email. I emailed her last week to get an ETA, she was happy to check with the designer. It's almost finished and she will be notified when it is shipped to her, then we will set up a time for me to pick it up. I did say sorry to bug her in the email, but it also made sense to get an idea of when it will be, since we will have to make an appointment then.

My dress just got in the boutique last week. I ordered it in last September. I totally understand your feeling because I was anxious too before the dress arriving at the store. I planned on taking my dress to seamstresses at the end of Feb, but most of the seamstresses I called all said that they can finish the alterations within two months. Good luck
