Calligraphy

So I love the way addresses look when calligraphy is used for any wedding related mail but I did not want to pay someone for it, so I thought I'd give it a try myself. Here are the results! Show me yours!

Yes, that's the plan! Although it will take me quite a while so I really have to start on time I guess.

I want to hand address my invites too, I think they look really personal! I have nice handwriting when I focus, my aunt told me once I write in textbook cursive lol. My main problem is usually writing in a straight line, so I’ll definitely need a guide. Luckily I only have like 30 to do, so if I break them up over a few days I think it’ll be fine.

I used brush pens, and did calligraphy for the names and neat printing for the addresses. I also have a hard time with centering things and writing in straight lines, so I made a template out of cardboard that I could place on the envelopes to draw faint lines for spacing, and then used a good quality eraser to erase them all afterwards. It ended up actually being a lot of fun - I definitely say go for it!

Yeah it is nice to give it a personal touch by handwriting! We are also going to write the names like this... the rest will be normal.
