I am so excited!! With 224 days to go, I finally finalized my cake order with the bakery and will pay for it next week. It was more than I really wanted to spend but my fiancé said go for it and since we are paying for it and he is okay with it then all is right with the world! Lol! I hope it turns out as beautiful as it seems on paper. All of my big money items are finished! Next up on my list is menswear!! I feel so accomplished.

So exciting! I hadn’t planned on even having a wedding cake, but my mom convinced me to have one. And I’m so glad she did! It was so exciting speaking with the baker and creating a unique cake together! What design and flavors did you decide to do?

What flavor did you go with? We’re meeting with a baker next week and we can’t fully decide if we should do cupcakes instead of a cake.

I should preface with we’re having a sunrise wedding so it’s not like people will want a ton of sweets at 9-10 am. LOL.

Hmmm! I am not sure. I am not a huge fan of cupcakes so I am not the person to ask. I am doing basic flavors(chocolate, vanilla and red velvet) with buttercream filling.
