I'd also recommend doing some designer research! There are some brands such as Maggie Sottero , Mori Lee , Mon Cheri, Casablanca Bridals , David's Bridal, Willowby by Watters, and Wtoo that are known for having very affordable dresses. If you are drawn to any of those specific designers then you can use their website store locator to see which nearby stores carry their gowns!

Idk exactly what your budget is, but I got mine at the Sample Shop in Buckhead for $1000. They offer off the rack dresses meaning they might be a little worn, but you take it home then and there and then you can take it to tailor for alterations and cleaning. They have a tailor that they usually work with and they give you her contact info.

I also heard of Adore bridal and Impression bridal in Acworth and Kennesaw.

A couple of my friends have been on budgets and they found their dress at Macys, Ross, and an online store Lulus!
