Bridal Shower Themes

I told my MOH and my mum that I would like an elegant bridal shower but other than that it is totally up to them.

I don't know who's throwing my shower or where it will be yet, but I already bought a dress for it LOL

I want an adult tea party, so think tea-infused cocktails like green tea shots and earl grey martinis! I want all my guests to wear fascinators or elegant hats! I think it would be so much fun.

I don't understand "add value to your shower"?

I'm having very little input in my shower. Early in the planning I was a little more involved with the logistics of choosing a date, time, and location that worked. I provided the guest list with addresses. After that, I have only been asked what flavor cake I like. I do know it's going to be a "brunch" bc it was discussed when we were figuring out a time to start the shower.

I picked the date and we haven’t settled on a time. I told them I’d love rose gold to be involved (color of my ring and one of my wedding colors) so they settled on fall tones with a fall in love theme

I jokingly discussed a Lord of the Rings/garden themed shower with my mom because FH and I are OBSESSED beyond words (hence my username lol)...turns out they actually did it!! I'm so excited- my bridesmaid slipped the theme to me so that's all I know, still don't know when or where!

Like PP, I also jokingly said I wanted a Harry Potter themed shower, and my sister (MOH) was immediately on board and obsessed with the idea. I provided the guest list, helped my mom find a place to host it (she asked for help), and gave my input on food. All decor and stuff went through my lol and sister. My mom really went all out from what I’ve seen so far, let me tell you! It’s this weekend already and I can’t wait!

My MOH and mom asked what I wanted and just said I want it to be SUPER girly. I love pink and glitter and sparkles and girly stuff, etc. And of course the wedding isn't going to reflect that really because it's about the both of us. So my only request was SUPERRRR girly and fun!

My MOH & Wedding planner have it planned out already. However, we did talk about wanting to have a bridal shower, jack and jill, & a stock the bar so that all of our friends and family could go to whichever suits them best, too.
