Bridal shower planning

Kayla, on August 19, 2020 at 12:38 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 12

Good afternoon!!!

My wedding date is March 20,2021 when would be a good time to plan a bridal shower month before or sooner.

Bridal showers could be up to three months prior

Anywhere from 0-3 months before your wedding is ideal. A month before would work fine.

A month is fine, and like others said it could be 3 months ahead of time (although that would be around the holidays - My wedding is a week after yours!)

For me, right around the 4 week before mark, really became busy, so I would suggest moving it back further from the wedding date because you need time to have fun and write thank yous before you are working on final details with the caterer, etc.

Again as PP said think through holidays, birthdays, school deadlines, or known work commitments to pick a non-stressful time for both you and the organizer.

1-3 months before - but your BP should be the one planning it, not you.

My wedding is on 4/24/2021 and my bridesmaids and mom are planning mine for this fall. Main reason being COVID-19 as this allows them to do it outdoors within the state restrictions. Otherwise they would need to rent an indoor location due to the winter weather which would make the shower pricier too, not to mention that we may or may not have stricter limits then. They will be providing face masks to all the guests as they arrive and have hand sanitizing stations. Of course we are aware some people may not feel comfortable coming out yet but we are okay with that.

    BP means bridal party.

There should be a thread with all the common acronyms around here, someplace.
I'm on my phone right now and can't find it
