Bridal Shoes

Amber, on August 10, 2023 at 7:17 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 20

Where did everyone find their bridal shoes? I feel like I have looked EVERYWHERE from TJMaxx to Neiman Marcus.

I got mine at Boscov's. I think the White Mountain and Naturalizer shoes are comfortable if you're willing to order online.

What does your dress look like (like will your shoes be visible)? I got somewhat pricey shoes knowing they won’t be seen, but I was also going for comfort and they’ll look nice in pictures. But if your gown comes all the way to the ground, then I would definitely put less emphasis on the shoes. I also got a pair of the customized Converses for the reception. FH got the matching groom ones, and they came out super cute.

I got mine from DSW. As another poster said, if your dress is floor length, I wouldn’t worry too much about the shoes since they won’t be seen anyway.

We are having a large black tie wedding & I am being delivered in a horse & carriage. My dress is very full and traditional. It is all Mikado and lace bodice with a 6 foot train. I know no one will be able to really see my feet however I do want to find a pretty yet comfortable pair. I am not willing to do flats - it's just not me. I am envisioning a satin closed toed sling back with (hopefully) a 2ish inch heel so I can be comfortable through the night. I am pretty open to a higher cost shoe as long as they are pretty and comfortable. Also, I am planning on changing into a Reception party dress half way through the reception, so I would be showing my shoes off then.

I'm hoping for an Ivory closed toe heel, maybe a little over 2 inches.

Try Bella belle. Also, Cole Haan wedding, Ferragamo, Stuart Weitzman, Jeffrey Campbell, and Naturalizer do ivory sling backs in leather, which I find more comfortable than satin.

I wore my most comfortable 4" open-toed heels already in my closet, not white.

It sounds like you've got a pretty specific idea of what you are looking for, so I'd try to search online using google shopping or a similar search engine. That way you won't be limited by a specific retailer's limited selection.

I’d look at Loeffler Randall. They have ones with a thicker heel for more comfort, but they also look cute and festive. Shoes are my thing, so I spent more on shoes than on the dress Smiley smile good luck!

After searching high and low, I decided on this Aquazzura pair in ice blue, which matched my palette! I wanted a pair I’d wear again someday. They come in lots of colors and it was difficult to choose between emerald green, yellow, or these. My dress was long so no one saw them, but I am a shoe girl, and knowing I was wearing them was enough for me! I also really liked some options at Betsy Johnson and Jeffrey Campbell. Before selecting these, I tried on some satin Manolos at Neiman and they just didn’t do it for me! For the after party I slipped into some fluffy white sandal slippers!

I learned recently about Bella Belle and am planning on running over to Anthropology soon to try a pair on. From what I have read, they seem very comfortable and stylish!

Bella Belle is also on the Nordstrom website, but I'm not sure if physically in the stores. Good luck.
