Bridal Covid-19 Check-in

Rather you are a 2020 bride or 2021 bride like myself how are you guys holding up? I know most state are attempting to reopen some were never on stay at home order and those who aren't even thinking about opening at this time. So for those spring brides how are you guys? Drop a line and check in on what stage of the process you are in or if you have postponed everything let me know how you are going about that as well.

I am a Aug 2021 bride things are planned however no deposits have been made. Taking my time which I probably shouldn't since some 2020 brides have postponed til 2021 and my wedding is in my hometown Chicago which is still technically on stay at home order so I have not flown home to do tastings or take photos Bridal Covid-19 Check-in 1

2021 bride. I'm trying my best to plan and just hope things open back up. Luckily I planned a lot before the shut down but I sometimes just sit and wonder the what ifs. I have my dress, shoes, most of my vendors book. I still have brida party and some other things to take care of. Being in NYC it is worrisome about what my wedding will look like.

August 2020 bride here from western PA! Rescheduled our June 27th wedding due to the virus and lots of ups and downs (grateful, sad, confused, you name it). Currently in reopening phase with limitations of 25 people in a gathering, but got hopeful news today if our county gets to the next phase (green) gatherings increase to 250 and salons can then open. First time in 2 months I have hope breathed into me! Love the photo btw, made me laugh out loud for the first time in weeks! What may help with your planning is so many venues and the wedding industry have increased their online presence to keep your plans moving. We booked our videographer without meeting in person and he spoke with us numerous times on the phone, great samples on his website, so we feel good about it. Another tip is to capture inspirational pictures of your theme/colors/style and have it available so florists, venue, etc. will understand your vision from the beginning. It helped me so much on my appointments! Stay safe and hope this virus passes quickly for all of us!! ❤️

I’m also an August 2021 bride. We’ve booked our venue, designer/florist, photographer, videographer, and DJ. All with deposits. And I’m glad we did because so many 2020 couples are having to reschedule. I’m just trying to stay positive, and praying that next year will be a better. I try not to think about it too much.

Awesome!! Glad to see things moving along I hope u guys reach the next phase!! We need those salons open!! My FH wanted to use his mother's videographer since she just got remarried last September. We live in Arizona so things are slowly opening but they can not operate that the space full capacity.

I have spoken to vendors I have chosen just need to make deposits on things especially the venue space I have 2 in mind that are in Chicago our hometown. Here are a few inspiration pics I have saved for you to view!! The picture I posted I thought was funny because as a bride I feel like this is how we ALL FEEL on the inside n it's good to laugh!!Bridal Covid-19 Check-in 2

I have ONLY put a deposit down for engagement photos ONLY!! lol I should have put down deposits for other vendors as well for the same reason smdh . However I will prevail I have hope!! I hope we dont run into this issue next August because my decorator state if my event is cancelled for any reason she will not refund me. The decorator said she is willing to reschedule to a different date but that's about it no money will be given back

Caterer won't even take a deposit at this time. She has me on her calendar. I dont thinknour videographer offers deposits lol but I will check. I am stuck between two venues, have to make my mind up soon. I have no dj and no one to marry us

Yeah I would say the most important thing is the venue. With so many other couples rescheduling you want to lock in a date. I feel like for all the other vendors there are so options that you'll find a company you love. We just happened to already be planning a 2 year engagement (we got engaged last year) because it gave us more time to pay everything off.

May 2021 bride here! I most admit that I am a little scared since we don’t know what is going to happen. However, I am still planning on schedule. Just and advice I found that videographers, photographers, catering and venues are getting the hardest to book for next year due to high demand.
