I of course had my dress, veil, headpiece. The flower headpiece was requested by my DH. I had earrings and a necklace I got from Amazon for $10. Shoes that were comfy was a must! No purse, jacket, cardigan, or anything else was needed for me.

I plan on most of those. I’ve already purchased most of my jewelry, tiara & veil. Still need shoes (getting white tennis shoes), clutch, shawl & panties (my dress is backless). Still on the fence about the garter...

I plan on having my dress of course, but not sure about all of the details. I'm pretty simple haha! I know for a fact that I don't want a veil, but I have been looking at delicate headpieces on Etsy! For shoes, I plan on wearing a pair of nude block heels for comfort. Since our wedding is in January, I'm thinking about getting myself and my bridal party pashminas to wear during the ceremony! Georgia weather can be unpredictable and random, so I want to have them in case it stays cold!

I had a cathedral veil that was way too expensive for the amount of time I wore it! I also had a headpiece, bought two pairs of earrings that I selected from the morning of and open toed, detailed Betsey Johnson heels. I wore the shoes for our engagement shoot and ceremony, and then switched to fluffy white pearl studded slide slipped for cocktail hour and our reception. We got married in May in Florida and my feet swelled so badly!

I plan to go pretty minimal on accessories so my dress and rings can be the stars of the show. As far as jewelry, I will only be wearing my engagement ring and a small necklace. I had a veil made for the ceremony, but tbh I may not even wear it. If not, I’ll just wear the headpiece I was already planning on switching into for the reception.
How about you? I know you had said you were going non-traditional with your dress-are you going to wear any “traditional” wedding accessories?

Omg, I'm super simple too! So simple that I doubt I'll be only having very few accessories.

Oops meant to say that I'm sure it'll be very few accessories. I'm not wearing a veil either.

Okay thanks for sharing. I plan to only wear heels during the photos and switch to flats when walking around.

Same haha! I don't like a lot of fuss when I dress up. If I do jewelry it will be very dainty and minimal!

    Ohhh that sounds nice.

I plan to wear my engagement ring, minimalist stud earings & necklace. I will not be wearing a veil, but perhaps a facinator.

Love that! I’m definitely a fan of “less is more” with bridal jewelry/accessories. I love the idea of a fascinator for that little something unique and special

For me, I had my veil with no additional headpieces, flower in my hair or anything like that.. I didn't wear earrings because my hair was styled half up/half down and no one could see my ears anyway (and I also hate earrings, lol). I wore a necklace that my sisters-in-law got me as a wedding gift for my "something new", and a bracelet that my sister's friend let me borrow for my "something borrowed". For shoes, I wore ankle height gladiator sandals b/c my dress covered my feet and I wanted to be comfortable during the ceremony, photos & reception. I just did simple because that's what I like.

I had cups sewn right into my dress, so I didn’t have to worry about a bra. I’m a DD and was held in place! I wore comfy undergarments for the day and saved the sexy stuff for after Smiley smile I bought shorts to wear underneath that provided anti-chafing that weren’t tight like spanx. I also got body glide for my feet, to help avoid blisters. Comfy shoes are a must. I wore flats the whole time, it was great. For jewelry, I had my veil, hair comb, earrings and a bracelet. Accessories were my garter, a clutch and faux fur wrap for when I got cold.

I'm planning on going pretty minimal with accessories. I've been eyeing a pair of lavender block heels that I could definitely wear again, and maybe a simple bracelet that echos the vine-patterned lace on my dress. Basically, unless I can wear it again I won't be buying it, haha! And definitely no veil--I felt like a little girl playing dress-up when the shop assistant put one on me, not like a grown woman getting married lol.

I feel ya on the buy what you can rewear. Although I've been eyeing a facinator $100 that has a blusher (that I probably won't rewear). I definitely want headware that can hide my big forehead lol. I'm convincing FH to buy it for me hee hee 😊

The bottom of my dress got filthy but I didn’t care. My feet hurt so badly that changing was a necessity. I was able to handle my huge ballgown just fine! Highly recommend a shoe change!

I had zero to no accessories (no veil, hairpiece, no necklace because of the neckline...I just had earrings, which you could hardly see due to my hair so...

    Pretty minimalist.
