My fiance and I are baseball people. Originally, we were not planning to do engagement pictures as a way to cut costs. But our wedding photo package included them. And then our venue built a pavillion so we no longer needed to rent a tent. That freed up so money in our budget so we decided to make the most of it.
We contacted the Braves/Suntrust Stadium to see how much it cost for photo access. Since we did them in the middle of the week and it was after the Braves had been eliminated from the playoffs it was only $500 for two hours of access including limited access to the field and visitor dugout.
My vision was for us to wear baseball jerseys that made our date - 5/2. Unfortunately and fortunately, there is not a player on the Braves who wears #2. So I wore an Astros Alex Bregman jersey which worked out well bc I am originally from Houston and a huge Astros fan!
The whole experience was amazing! And I absolute love how our pictures turned out! The stadium has since changed names from Suntrust to Truist, but I still think it is a very beautiful and unique spot for pictures!
