Booked our venue!

My fiancé and I started looking at venues early as a lot of places near DC (where we live) are booking for 2023 already and some even were booked for our wedding date already!! We looked at 7 and were between two of them but then went to tour one this weekend that perfectly meshed the two together! It’s classic and airy and has a beautiful ballroom for our guests to dance the night away! We couldn’t be happier with this venue and multiple family friends (and even other venues we’ve canceled tours of) sing their praises!

    Yes it is! We’re so excited! And since it’s so early, our first deposit (after the security deposit) isn’t due for an entire year haha. So we have so much time to save! It really feels like a dream come true

    Yes! And they have an all inclusive package where they provide a choosing of different DJs (one of which is actually a family friend!), florists and photographers for a fraction of the price you’d pay for just one service. You get to choose between two or three different vendors depending on the style. It really is a dream come true

    The price ranges were bonkers! One place was $50/ for the bar alone, then another $89/head for all catering and open bar!
    There are some gorgeous venues in the DC area though!

    Amazing! Finding a venue with a reasonable date was the most difficult part for me. I think March is considered off season so you probably got a deal! One benefit of booking so far out is that you basically get your pick of photographer, hair, makeup….everything!
