Boho Wedding venue

Kristen, on September 27, 2019 at 11:05 PM Posted in Iowa Planning 0 5
Hi there!
Im kristy and Im getting married in October 2021. Our theme is rustic chic bohemian (boho). I have been trying to find a wedding venue that does not have a barn or is a huge venue. My max guest count is 26 people. We want to keep it super small. Im not from Iowa so we don't have a ton of family out here besides my fiancee's. Does anyone know of any rustic non barn venues?

I have no clue what rustic, chic boho would be 🤷🏼‍♀️ But a friend of mine had her wedding at an orchard and it was gorgeous! Indoor space had huge wooden beams and high ceilings. She decorated with gorgeous flowers and more higher end touches than mason jars and that whole craze. It was maybe “glam rustic”? Haha idk the verbage means something different to everyone but if there are apple orchards or wineries in your area I would look into those

Lol I know what you mean. Its hard to describe without photos Lol I will def. Try some wineries and orchards those are great ideas! In Iowa everything has a barn attached to it. Driving me bonkers finding a venue without a barn Lol thanks for the help! Smiley smile

Hey Kristen!! Welcome to the WeddingWire community!

Have you thought about looking into some local restaurants that fit into your boho style? There may be some great locations that have a private dining area that you would be able to rent for your reception. If you are interested in checking out the ones listed on WeddingWire, you can find them here - Iowa Restaurant Wedding Venues

You can also check out the Iowa Winery & Brewery Wedding Venues if you are also interested in seeing what is available.

Oh, both color schemes sound beautiful!!

Personally, I love burgundy and it might go with your winery venue (if this is the direction you choose).
