Blocking wind and rain at a pavilion

Esther, on October 31, 2018 at 2:46 PM Posted in Kansas Planning 0 9

We are considering an outdoor wedding at a park with a high-ceilinged pavilion It would be in Kansas, the last weekend of April, so the main concern is the temperature and wind/rain. I'm not sure how to handle that since the pavilion will not have sides. Any ideas? I'm also not a fan of the picnic tables that are provided with the pavilion. Does anyone have cute ideas for that as well? Thanks.

I think if there is wind and rain, you would handle that by having a plan B which was indoors.

Yeah that sounds really risky. I agree with having an indoor option.

Can you hang tent walls at the ceremony and reception space?

That's what I was wondering. I was looking into different rental options but didn't know what to search. I'll try that.

That's beautiful! Are there walls on the sides? I can't tell. Did they install them for you?

This is what I am planing for my renewal in July 2020. They are tent walls you can contact a rental company and explain what you are trying to do and they will assist you.

Thank you, Alexandra. I'm checking on that now. I just wasn't sure how they would attach since the pavilion has such a high ceiling.
