Hi to my wedding wire family this is a two for 1 😂😂😂 ok. Now in 2 days I will be turning 50ty and in 16 more days I will be getting married as well. So if most of you may not know how we got to our second date. So we had fell on some obstacles since the pandemic it just took a turn for us that we had to scrape our original date which was June 12th of this year. We agreed to push back the date so you already most venue tell us either you marry this year your the money is forfeit. Then we were trying to figure out what date we both said along with some friends and family. We both arrived here we both are turning 50 years younger years 😂😂😂 so will he celebrating both our wedding and reception and is our birthday party all in one. And going to MARRY MY HEART BEAT MY LOVE. Is anyone celebrating 2 things plus wedding day as me. I would love to hear

    Great. you are getting closer to the celebration of birthday and marriage. Hoping things are smoothing out for you in your preparations. Maybe it was good to have a little pressure by your venue to get ready within a year. Will you have a big 50 topper on the wedding cake? I was going to ask if you would have black balloons too, but I won't.

    We will just be celebrating a wedding. yay.

    Yes I'm getting the feeling back a bit as you know it has been a roller coaster ride for sometime. But we beat all that ppl were trying to break way. I have been praying so much for god to place his Angels around us. So we have been knocking them down. And we had to let go the second caterer and now with someone else paying a little more. But we met with our officiant yesterday but the last detail the most important thing is our marriage license which he has to be present for 🤯 so I'm panicking now but my sister is really making panicking more.

    Uh-oh!! Have y’all gotten it yet? I think you might still have time I know for us we had to wait 72 hours before having the ceremony. I’d definitely call or visit your courthouse to see what the process is. But try not to panic, everything is going to workout.

    When I called before this lady told me over the phone that I didn't need him to come. But I went in person today and she tells me that I do. So i told him that we have to make an appointment and go get it done

    I saw that too. you have to apply for the license together. The workers want to know you are the actual couple and that you both are willing to get married -- and that you are not under 18. I hope you can do that soon. I wonder how it would work if you got the application in after the ceremony. Probably not very well. lol.

    Definitely. You have time to do this. I wonder if anyone has a story to share of preparing everything for the wedding but missing this step. The state really should not care as long as the officiant testified to the marriage happening. I just saw where a mother testified to the birth of her daughter 20 years later so she could get a birth certificate.
