Bests Months To Get Married In

Carlin, on April 15, 2022 at 9:32 PM Posted in Community Conversations 4 10

I would say the best months to get married would have to be May, June, September, and October that's just my opinion? I'm not saying all months are bad to get married in. But again that is just my opinion

It's all depends on your reason on why you want to be married in a certain month. I think any month can be a month to get married. My original date was 6/12/22 but we had a lot of hits between losing family members and friends to losing your job so. We were looking at what month would give us the best time to work things out. So that has workout in our favor so now October is our date and plus our Birthday are months apart and so we will celebrating all of these things together. So what reason and what month are you thinking

There’s a million factors that go into it. Weather, peak vs non peak season, budget for peak season, compatibility with schedules of VIP guests, and the list goes on. There is no “one size fits all” answer.

Where we’re located, late fall and all of winter are the only comfortable months that aren’t scorching hot. Because of that, most vendors and venues consider that non peak season, though some don’t make any exceptions. It’s also easier on our families and friends to travel at that time.

If weather is the only criteria that matters to you: So yes, you're definitely right.
For couples who are on a budget, those who have a significant season or date that doesn't fall in these months, such as a relationship anniversary: no

For where we wanted to have our wedding (our hometown), unfortunately all four of those months come with a very high risk of fire. There have been increasingly bad wildfires that have necessitated the evacuation of hundreds of thousands of people, and I know of dozens and dozens of weddings that have had to be cancelled, or held in the smoke, which can linger for weeks. So we’re getting married indoors in the winter. It depends a lot on location.

Think it all varies from person to person. I’d say go with the time you love the most and feel the most comfortable/happy in🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m getting married in December in Vegas because I love that time of the year it’s just so magical! Plus I prefer cooler weather🤷🏽‍♀️

These are all great reasons. I got married in August which if you work in the school system or have kids in school, could be ideal if you hit that sweet spot between summer school and regular session. Sure some people have their own vacations and decline, they get missed. We actually moved our date and August was freer. Weather was not a factor as everything was indoor under air conditioning.

We chose Memorial Day weekend of this year as it is typically a day with warm weather but not too hot.

We wanted a fall wedding and because of our location we have to navigate home vs away college football games. We ended up with the first weekend in November because it’s “off season” for weddings and was $2,000 cheaper than if we had it one week earlier.

I really wishes that I could have kept my original date which was in june of this year. We would have had ceremony outside considering if the heat was to humid and cocktail hour would have been held outside and inside reception was inside. Now we will have it in October 2022 inside keeping my fingers crossed for Indian summer. Which in was born in 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I think it depends on the season & location! Do you want winter snow, spring flowers, summer vineyards, fall foliage? What’s the weather like? Avoid too hot or cold unless you’ve chosen a venue that makes it comfy for guests. The season can also affect the price.
