Best Lip Products?

I really like Lipsense. I’m not a sold out only use Senegence person, but I like the lasting power of Lipsense. In my experience, it does not last well with heavy kissing, but I applied blu-red this morning for church, made it through lunch with the family, and up and back to see the future in laws and only reapplied the gloss once.

This picture is from 5:30, I applied it approx. 7 hours earlier around 10:30.

Maybelline makes a liquid matte lipstick that comes in a square tube and it has by far been the longest lasting lipstick I have been able to find! It comes in a variety of colors, and at less than $10 a tube, is definitely worth trying out!

I used that matte also and it lasts for hours ! I also applied a lipgloss over it also

My lips are "funny" about lip products and I can't use a lot because there is usually always some sort of odd reaction. However, on that note, I've been very lucky with Mirabella BeautyColour Vinyl Lipstick - Hard to find, some salons sell or you can get lucky on ebay. The lipstick not only holds it's color but shines (I'm actually wearing it in my profile pic. I can keep this lipstick in place on average without touch up for 6 hours.

The secret to most lipsticks staying put is allowing your lips to dry after application (don't eat or drink for at least 15 - 20 minutes). Another method is using lip primer or good old fashioned baby powder on your lips (I'm allergic to corn starch, so not an option for me)

Maybelline matte ink liquid lipstick would make for a good base. They last through basically everything haha. I would put something else on top, like a gloss or satin/cream bullet lipstick, because the maybelline will settle into lines + dry your lips out a bit.

I wore Lipsense and it didn't budge until the last hour of the night! I had it on my lips for about 8 hours before it started flaking, but if I would've applied the gloss more often throughout the night, it would've lasted even longer. I was on cloud 9, so literally nothing bothered me the entire day, so my lipstick was not even on my mind lol

Glad to help. I also just bought a new lipstick by Smashbox (Always On Metallic Matte) which is supposed to last (I'll let you know how it works out - box says "8 hour power metal")
