Best honeymoon destinations

Anyone have honeymoon recommendations for a couple flying out of New York? I would have loved Bora Bora but the flight says it is 30 hours long. Maybe something more east coast friendly but not apart of the contiguous US for the month of March. Thanks!

We are planning our honeymoon to Kenya for a safari and a stay at Giraffe Manor. Hoping to top it off by spending a few days in Zanzibar for the beach. Not sure if you’re looking for only beach. The flight is still pretty long (I think 18 hours out of Boston) but not as long as Bora Bora!

Living in Australia with our international borders closed, I am jealous of you lot being able to plan international holidays!

Anywhere in the Caribbean like Aruba or the Virgin Islands or wherever? The flight should be about 4-6 hours depending on which island you choose.

Depends what you want to do and how much you want to spend.
If you want a tropical vacation for cheap (or at least great value for your money) then the Caribbean will be great.
If you want something where you can walk around, visit, take in the sights, then you might like Europe. There are so many cool countries to visit depending on the activities you want and the flights are short (about 6hrs from NYC to Paris for example). You could also look into Greece for some cheap resorts, amazing food and beautiful beaches. It might be a little chilly in March though

Can you go to Portugal during the pandemic? Because I cannot recommend it highly enough. Delicious food, kind people, resorts, activities, history, art. Not a bad flight from NY at all.

Yes, I’m looking at that area and wasn’t sure if one island was better than others from previous experience. Thank you!

I haven't been everywhere, but Aruba is absolutely beautiful. Places like Jamaica and the Dominican Republic will be cheaper. Aruba also has some cool history, like a natural bridge and a cool nature park, an old fort, etc. So there is history there. The beaches are gorgeous, and there are a lot of great local restaurants. It's also pretty safe.
