Best All-inclusive Honeymoon Destinations

Hey everyone!


We are getting married April 2021 and are trying to determine honeymoon plans. We originally had our heart set on Excellence El Carmen in DR but are starting to worry about travel restrictions with COVID not going anywhere. I’m looking for recommendations for an all-inclusive, near the beach, warm, luxurious hotel/resort somewhere in the United States or in Mexico (less travel restrictions than DR based on my research) and I would love to hear where people have been!

    Excellence El Carmen is amazing. That's where we went for our honeymoon. Excellence also has a few properties in Mexico. Specifically Excellence Play Mujeres and Beloved Playa Mujeres are supposed to be fantastic. My parents absolutely love Beloved. Excellence Riviera Cancun is also supposed to be nice, but Playa Mujeres is actually their highest rated property (including Mexico, DR, and Jamaica).

    Could you go to the Florida Keys? I know it's not the DR, but I would be hesitant about international travel anytime soon, and FL doesn't have any travel restrictions that I know of (unlike Hawaii, for example).

    We booked the Valentine Imperial in Riviera Maya. All exclusive, adult only resort. I believe 5 stars. Check it out. I am so excited to go

    My husband and I had our honeymoon booked for Excellence El Carmen in DR for November 7-14th but the resort didn't open so we were forced to switch our plans. We ended up going to the Hard Rock in Cancun. While I know those are two different types of resorts I believe we ended up right where we should have been. Our trip was fantastic with no issues traveling from Ohio. We had a blast at the Hard Rock and have already planned on going back in the future. I wish you the best of with your decision.
